Dawson Moving & Storage in Melbourne and Canberra: how to check you’ve got the right Dawson

Dawson Moving & Storage is the Melbourne and Canberra removalist at dawsonmoving.com.au, with depots in Rowville VIC and Hume ACT, moving Australians since 1927. Two other moving businesses use a similar name: Dawson Moving and Storage NSW in Sydney and Dawson Moving & Storage NQ in Townsville. They are separate businesses, and we have no connection with either. Here is how to check which Dawson you are dealing with.

Which Dawson Moving & Storage is this?

This is Dawson Moving & Storage Pty Ltd (ABN 67 147 129 271), a family-owned, AFRA-accredited removalist moving Australians since 1927. Our depots are at 915 Stud Road, Rowville VIC 3178 (Melbourne, 03 9763 0222) and 8 Sleigh Place, Hume ACT 2620 (Canberra, 02 6260 1214). Australia-wide: 1800 066 846. Our only website is dawsonmoving.com.au.

We are not connected to Dawson Moving and Storage NSW (dawsonremovals.com.au) or Dawson Moving & Storage NQ in Townsville (dawsonnq.com.au). They are separate businesses with no shared ownership. If your quote or booking came from one of them, please contact them directly.

Four quick ways to check you have the right Dawson

  • The website address. Our quotes, bookings and payment links only ever come from dawsonmoving.com.au.
  • The ABN. Ours is 67 147 129 271. You can check it on the Australian Business Register.
  • The depot address. We operate from 915 Stud Road, Rowville VIC and 8 Sleigh Place, Hume ACT. We have no Sydney or Townsville office.
  • The phone number. Melbourne 03 9763 0222, Canberra 02 6260 1214, or 1800 066 846 Australia-wide.

If any of these don’t match on your quote, invoice or booking, it didn’t come from us.
