Removalists Point Cook

In a suburb with so many options, why do Point Cook locals keep coming back to Dawson Moving & Storage? It comes down to a blend of heritage, reliability, and that classic, helpful Australian spirit. Here is what sets us apart:

1. A Century of Proven Reliability: We’ve been around since 1927. You don’t last that long in the moving game without being honest, hard-working, and consistently good at what you do.
2. AFRA Accreditation for Your Peace of Mind: Being accredited by the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA) isn’t just a badge; it’s a guarantee. It means our trucks are purpose-built, our staff are rigorously trained, and we offer industry-standard transit insurance that actually protects you.
3. Real Solutions for Real Problems: We’ve seen it all and solved it all.
4. The Narrow Access Challenge: We recently assisted a family moving into a sleek new townhouse with a notoriously tight driveway. Instead of struggling with a massive semi-trailer, our team utilised a “shuttle” service with smaller vans, ensuring the move was completed quickly without scuffing a single wall or blocking the neighbours’ access.
5. The Settlement Hiccup: Once, a Point Cook client faced a four-hour delay on their settlement day. Rather than charging exorbitant fees or leaving them in the lurch, our crew stayed positive, took a break, and worked late into the evening to ensure the kids were tucked into their own beds by nightfall.
6. Secure Storage on Standby: Sometimes the “moving out” and “moving in” dates don’t perfectly align. Our secure, 24/7 monitored storage facilities are perfect for Point Cook residents who need a safe place for their belongings while they wait for their new build to be finalised or their renovation to wrap up.
7. Specialised Care for All Family Members: We don’t just move furniture. We coordinate pet transport so your furry friends arrive at your new Point Cook home stress-free, and we offer vehicle transport for the family car, boat, or caravan.
