Our lengthy experience in the industry enables Dawson to provide a highly
professional service, which features customer support and competitive pricing.
Our Scoresby site has some 200 storage
units, ranging in size from 6m3 to a generous 40 cubic metres. This range of
units allows Dawson to provide solution which best meets your storage needs
and budget. The safety of your valuable goods is paramount.
To ensure your peace of mind our
facilities have fully monitored fire protection systems and continuous
security monitoring, including video camera surveillance. In addition to all
this we have onsite security patrols.
If required we can arrange insurance for your goods through our insurance
brokering service.
 Our access hours are from 8.00am to
4.30pm Monday to Friday, with other times
available by prior arrangement.
To assist you with a trouble free move into our facilities we have available a
fully enclosed courtesy trailer. Alternately we can arrange our removal team
to do the moving for you. Any packing materials you may require are available
at our office, including cartons, bubble wrap, tape, paper. etc.

anything from a few boxes of wine to a full house of furniture. Items which do
not meet requirements for safety are not permitted into storage, such as
flammables, hazardous materials etc.,

individual space sizes. Our staff can generally help you work out the
best size for you. Things to take into consideration are — how accessible do
you want the goods to be? How often will I need to access the space? What do I
want to use the space for? All these issues will affect the amount of space

HOW MUCH
DOES IT COST?
What you pay for depends on
the size of the space you need and perhaps any ancillary services you may also
require. Dawson can offer a range of convenient payment methods,
including monthly, quarterly, annually and EFTPOS.
WHAT ABOUT
INSURANCE
Whilst your goods are in self storage they are NOT COVERED by
Dawson for loss or damage. The Self Storage Association of Australasia strongly
recommends that ALL customers take out insurance cover or maintain any existing
cover that may be on their goods.
WHAT IF I HAVE A HOUSEHOLD CONTENTS POLICY OR OTHER INSURANCE COVER?
Don’t assume ANY EXISTING policy will automatically cover your goods in self
storage, ask the insurance company and find out whether your existing policy is
suitable for covering your goods in self storage.
WILL MY
GOODS BE SAFE
Unfortunately there are no guarantees in today’s world and incidents of
accidental or deliberate nature are an unfortunate fact of life. Insurance is
strongly recommended.
