POINTS TO HELP YOU AND YOUR PETS

Water, Food & Meals:

Prior to collection, your pets last meal should be on the night before. (Preferably dry food soaked for easy digestion). This reduces significantly, the chances of him fouling his crate. With all overseas flight, your pets have a constant supply of water. Dogtainers gives 3 meals a day, the last meal prior to their departure is given to them more than 7 hours prior to lift off.

          Blankets & Toys:

Only small soft objects should be in the crate with your pet, for in the event of turbulence, we do not want hard or sharp objects flying around that could hurt your pet. Small comforters such as personal unwashed clothing items are perfect for your pets to travel with, also gives your pet a sense of security. Avoid large blankets as they take up to much room. We use lots of newspaper on the bottom of the crate. Customs prevent us from allowing natural products from traveling i.e.sheepskin and wool.

Animals in transit:

If your pets are going overseas, they may spend a period of time with us. We understand that you may not be fully aware of what happens from the time our driver collects your pets.

Please let us reassure you that your pets are always in the best of care.

When our driver collects your pet, they are taken to our holding kennels, which is a temperature controlled quarantine approved kennel with their own run, we make sure they are comfortable with a bed and water and later when settled some food. This is where they stay until they are ready to be lodged onto their flight, before this we walk them to give them a chance to relieve themselves.
